Breakfast with "Angela"!
Crunchy French Toast
This a Sunday Morning fav!! Prepare French Toast as usual. For those of you who are new to cooking it is quite simple. In one bowl, crack several eggs (1 eggs per 3 slices of bread), add 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp sugar, dash of milk and mix. Heat oiled pan. Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture, fry on both sides then top with syrup. To make it crunchy, get a second bowl and crunch up you favorite cereal. (I prefer Cinnamon Toast Crunch) Dip one slice bread into egg mixture, then dip into the crunched up cereal and fry. I suprised my kids and husband with this one and they were screaming for more!

Dinner Recipes - Classified as Good Ole Country Cookin'
Coca-Cola Chicken
This is one of my family's MOST favorite dinner! This recipe contains only three ingrediants and is sure to make your tummy smile. You will need a crock-pot or if you don't, I will note at the end of the instructions how to make it stove-top.
Ingrediants: Chicken (I use thighs, b-cuz there is only one bone!)
Ketchup
Coca-cola (you may use any dark soda, just NOT diet)
Place rinsed chicken into crock-pot. You are going to start with 1 cup ketchup, then 1 cup Coke. Continue using equals parts ketchup and Coke to cover the top of the chicken. Once the chicken is covered, turn on HIGH until you leave for work or for the day, then turn down to LOW before you leave. Otherwise, I put it on HIGH to get the temp up, then turn down to LOW. Cook for 6-8 hours on LOW, or 4-5 hours on HIGH. There is no need to season and adding a diced onion is optional.
I complete the dinner with a pot of rice and cornbread (yes, I will give you my secret below). Viola!
